Excellent piece. I've had a Classics professor show this fim in a mythology class as an example of the influence of Oedipus Rex. I can see now that the revelation of a tragic circumstance is not limited to the characters in the film.

Any comments on Blade Runner '49?

I personally think that it's on par, if not even better than the original.

It's pretty good. Ryan Gosling was a good replacement lead for Harrison Ford.

But the message is less clear. I like the original best as it's sort of an allegory for autism.
